Support from Trusts and Foundations can make a huge difference to our work. We welcome the opportunity to build successful relationships with new and existing partners. Organisations that have supported us include:
The Wolfson Foundation has generously supported us since 1977. Their grants, totalling over £2.4m, have been part of a funding partnership that have enabled acquisitions to be made by museums and galleries across the UK. The Foundation's donation is commemorated in the labelling of the work of art.
The Monument Trust has been supporting us since 1985 and our Regional Volunteering programme since 2002.
With their help, The Art Fund has reorganised its Volunteering function and the regional committees have undertaken training and increased their activity.
This has also helped us strengthen our relationship with regional museums and galleries, and increased donations through Volunteer committees.
The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation has supported The Art Fund since 1975.
Since 2002, they have been supporting acquisitions in Northern Ireland and in 2005 they renewed their support of The Art Fund by funding the first ever research project into acquisitions for regional museums and galleries.
During 2006, we will support regional museums and galleries that have been identified as being the greatest in need.
An array of opportunities exist for Trust and Foundations to support The Art Fund. For more information please contact Jane Lenton, Trusts Fundraiser, on 020 7225 4801 or jlenton@artfund.org
